A unique opportunity to walk the Annapurna Base Camp Trek including a visit to the actual Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) and an optional ascent of Poon Hill (3210m)
We are offering this expedition to our international school clients; students and teachers alike. All students from each school should be accompanied by a teacher from the same school. We hope to make up a multi school expedition which will bring together the diversities and cultures from different schools and regions.
The trek starts and finishes in Kathmandu and will be flexible in it's itinerary due to the nature of the environment and our ability as an experienced team to get the most out of your time with us. The outline confirmed is:
Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu (Yak and Yeti Hotel)
Day 02 Nayapul to Tikhedunga (1540m) Driving duration: 1 ½ hours Hiking duration: 3 to 4 hours
Day 03 Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2750m) Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours
Day 04 Gorepani to Tadapani (2650m) via Poon Hill (3210m) Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours
Day 05 Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m) Hiking duration: 5 to 6 hours
Day 06 Chomrong to Hotel Himalayan (2920m) Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours
Day 07 Hotel Himalayan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3500m) Hiking duration: 5 to 6 hours
Day 08 Acclimatisation day at Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3500m) Hike duration: 1 hour
Day 09 Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) Hiking duration: 2 to 3 hours and return MBC (3500m)
Day 10 MBC to Bamboo (2505m) Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours
Day 11 Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours
Day 12 Jhinu Danda to Birethati, Walking hours: 5 to 6 Birethati to Pokhara Travel time: 1.5 hours (Pokhara Grande)
Day 13 Pokhara to Kathamdu and International Flight
This trek boasts amazing viewpoints, ridge-top trails, deep narrow gorges, and culminates inside the natural amphitheater of 11 mountain peaks known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Revered by trekkers for its incredible beauty, this trek trek takes us up to Ghorepani and Poon Hill for sunrise then down into the narrow Modi Khola gorge, the only way in to the sanctuary. This is a vigorous trek with 5-7 hours of walking every day, and a high point of 4130m, 13,400 ft. In Kathmandu and Pokhara you will have a chance experience the hustle and bustle of markets and most of all enjoy the hospitality of the wonderful Nepali people.
Fee: £1600.00 $2190.00USD
This is based on 15-25 persons in the expedition and 13 days in region. If less people wish to go this is still possible but may increase the fee slightly.

Booking
Confirmations are required in writing 3 months before the trek date. Should you cancel your booking after this date, 50% is non refundable less than 8 weeks before your course date and 100% is non refundable should the cancellation be less than 4 weeks before your course start date.
